NEWS FLASH!

Pacita II-KMBHI is now on the Web!! Yes, we have our own Web Site! Taking advantage of the information superhighway, the Association has developed a web site primarily aimed at enhancing information dissemination. The site features information about ongoing projects, list of officers and committee heads, and other interesting topics such as "Waste Management Program", useful home and computer tips, etc. For emergency cases, residents can access the various hotlines to police, fire departments, hospitals, among others. We plan to provide a business ads section that will feature products and services available in Pacita II and would very much welcome your advertisements for a minimal fee.

We eagerly invite you to visit our web site at:

WHAT'Z UP?

Security Alert: Mayor's Special Action Group (MSAG)
Good news to our homeowners! A newly organized MSAG Unit at Pacita II composed of Volunteer MSAG Operatives who have been busy patrolling our area at night and early morning. This highly commendable project is being coordinated with the Peace and Order Committee, aimed at protecting our homeowners against criminals engaged in snatching, bukas-kote, akyat-bahay, theft, etc. So far, several apprehensions have been made and the suspects brought to Headquarters by our MSAG Volunteers and they deserve our congratulations, gratitude, and full support. We enjoin everyone to be alert and to report any suspicious persons roaming around Pacita II.

Our special thanks and recognition to the following officers for their continued dedication to the success of MSAG operations: our President Fred Flores, Amando Bien, Aladin Verano, and special thanks to Romy Bien (whose personal car is being used as patrol car of the group), and to all the MSAG Volunteers. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

In addition, there is a proposal to issue IDs to homeowners/residents, including tricycle drivers/owners, and impose curfew hours to teenagers as part of our safety and security program. These matters are under serious consideration by the Board.

Bits and Pieces

On Motivation
You get the best effort from others not by lighting a fire beneath them, but by building a fire within!

On Action
There are costs and risks to a program of action, but they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction.
